Could be mods related.If you use mods then temporarily move (not copy) your folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your desktop and start the game again.When game is OK now, copy from the file on your desktop the folders Tray and Saves back to the newly created folder Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4
